Hello!

My name is Aga and I live in Colorado with my family and 3 (very demanding lol)German Shepherds.

I picked up a paintbrush about 4 years ago, while pregnant, as a hobby. Decided to try some watercolors. That lasted for about 6 months and life got very busy. Now, 4 years later, I’ve decided to try again. Originally I went for acrylics, but wasn’t very happy. I needed more time to blend and unfortunately they dry way too quickly.

One day, while on YouTube looking for a tutorial on fur I came across Jason’s video. I tried the same in acrylic but didn’t achieve the desired effect. And that’s when I learned about alkyd oils. After watching more tutorials and reading I was hooked. Bought suggested supplies and started yet another learning process.

My most favourite subject is African wildlife, and since I’m married to a South African, I hope one day I’ll be able to visit that part of the world and experience the wildlife before their extinction.
